Kevin Warner

Lead Pastor

Pastor Kevin grew the Chicago area, accepted Christ at a young age and developed a love for the Word of God. However, it was not until he was in junior high that he truly put his faith in Christ for salvation. In high school, he was involved in his church and youth ministry, leading Bible studies, playing music, and even preaching. Later, he felt a calling to full-time ministry and attended Valparaiso University and Denver Seminary.

During college, Kevin met Adrianne at an Evangelical Free Church. Together, they led the junior high ministry at their church. They have three kids: Mitchell, Phoebe, and James.

After seminary, Kevin spent six years at Compass Evangelical Free Church in Columbia, MO, ministering to students, families, parents, and men, as well as preaching. In 2015, he started pastoring at Lighthouse Community Church,

Kevin is passionate about preaching the Word of God, discipleship, and the church. He enjoys reading, the Chicago Bears, coffee and Coke Zero, and did we mention the Chicago Bears!?!?

Joshua Rietgraf

Worship & Youth Pastor

Joshua has been on staff as a director at Lighthouse since June of 2017 and now serves as the Worship & Youth Pastor.

For worship, his main job is to lead musical worship on Sunday mornings and to create an environment where people can freely participate in worship. He schedules volunteers for leading on stage and in the tech booth and he plans Sunday morning services. His heart is that those who come would feel that every Sunday morning is an opportunity to engage with God and grow deeper in their walk with the Lord.

For Middle School & High School ministry, Joshua loves helping students to know the Bible and become fully committed Jesus followers.

Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife Shelby, reading, board games, going to concerts, hanging out with friends, playing Nintendo, collecting vinyl records, writing worship songs and listening to music.

Amy DuBois
Children’s Ministry Director

Amy is the part-time Children’s Ministry Director who enjoys planning Sunday and Wednesday programs for children from PK-5th grade. Her programs teach the gospel in a personal and individual way that children can understand and apply to their daily lives. She also plans exciting events for children and their families throughout the year. Her favorite event is Vacation Bible School, where she sees children excited and engaged in lessons and activities. She loves to hear how children live out their faith at home and school. Amy is also planning family discipleship events, mom’s groups, and outreach events to build a strong community of moms supporting each other.

Amy grew up attending and participating in events at her church. In middle school, she went on her first mission trip to the Dominican Republic, where she held VBS for a couple of villages. From that moment on, she fell in love with missions and serving children. She went to the Dominican Republic every year over spring break and spent one summer as a missionary intern. She went to Iowa State University and got her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education. She taught preschool special education for seven years before staying home with her children. While at home, she was involved with a MOPS group and Bible Study Fellowship. She has been a children’s leader with Bible Study Fellowship for the past two years, which has helped grow and disciple her as a wife and mom of young children. She has a heart for moms and their children and hopes to build a strong community at Lighthouse where moms can love and support each other.

When she isn’t leading children’s activities at church or Bible Study Fellowship, she is most likely spending time with her family. Amy and her husband Marc have two children, Marc Jr. and Ava. They enjoy taking their children to activities or spending time at home playing games, being outside with their children and family dog, Buddy. Amy also enjoys reading, baking, and traveling whenever she has free time.
